Maternity Photos!

This is mommy at 29 weeks (daddy is the photographer). I heard that she likes her hair much better when it's highlighted, but she heard it's safer not to color her hair until I'm born. Looks like a great house - can't wait to see it in person!

...and the nursery progresses!

Baby Burley (bb) says,
"Daddy was on fire today -- he painted the whole room and assembled my new crib too! I think we're going to be able to start decorating tomorrow! I can't believe this is going to be my new room in just under three months!" Below are some pictures of the room as of 4:45pm!

The Nursery Saga Continues

The nursery project has officially begun! Trey has been busy this week moving out the bed and all of the junk. On my day off yesterday I went to Sherwin Williams and got the paint (we'll be going with a khaki). And now...Trey has finished patching, sanding and priming!

Also, today baby Burley kicked so hard that I saw my stomach giggle (note: not normally a good thing, but trust me, in this case, I'm VERY excited!) Trey hasn't been able to feel him kick very much so far, so I'm excited for him to be able to see a little more! ;-)

Baby Burley at 23 Weeks!

Now this is one well-photographed baby! And he isn't even out of the womb yet! Here is another cool ultrasound from the hospital of baby burley at 23 weeks. I know he likes pink lemonade and ice cream, because the kicks start pretty soon after! Already, we have a lot in common!

The Nursery Saga

I had an idea from a very intelligent friend of mine to monitor the progress of the nursery. Well, here is the "nursery". Yep, pretty bad.
We're going to pick the paint color to match the crib bedding set.

So off to get the crib bedding set...more to come!

My sister ROCKS!

We now officially have a crib! Cindy gave us the opportunity to purchase an $80.00 crib WITH the mattress - and we did! This weekend we're going to get the bedding set to go with it! Can't wait!! Thank you again Cindy!!

19 1/2 Weeks

Today was our 20 week ultrasound - Trey must have been right at our last appointment - we're having a baby boy!! I am doing well, and Trey has painted and sanded our upper hallway and bonus room completely by himself! I say he's nesting (but he says that's something girls do!)
