Hope everyone's Christmas was lots of fun. The highlight of mine was that I got to be superbaby. I like that a lot.

My name is James Cason Burley, but everybody calls me Jake. I'm almost 10 weeks old. So far, I'd say I'm a very well-rounded guy. I like to do lots of activities, like swinging

...but I'm not afraid to relax with my blanket!

Family is very important to me

but I like hanging out with friends, too.

Sorry I've been so lax at updating the blog, but growing like this takes a lot of time and energy (for EVERYONE! lol) Here is one of my Christmas pictures (my daddy took it!). I really like it, but I'm biased ;-)

Hello James Cason Burley

Mom and Jake are doing fine. Jake was delivered by c section around 8:00 on 10/1/09. Mom was in labor for a long day. The labor started the previous day and we went to the hospital where the various drug cocktails were administered.

Her water broke around 10:00 AM, she started to dilate and by 2:00 she was already at 7cm. Unfortunately at 7:00 she was still at 7cm, so they scheduled a c section. Mom was very brave and the process was super short, within 10 minutes little Jake made his appearance!

Trey has been playing on facebook

On cloudy days like this it's good to update our social media.

Such is the case with Trey's facebook account, he's also updated flickr and has pledged to update twitter more often.

Jenny too is taking it easy, updating sites and waiting for the baby. We're going to eat Italian tonight, relax and watch a movie in what could be the last child free weekend.

Just about 35 weeks!

Wow - Aunt Cindy sure did a great job on that tree! Would you believe she did that in one night?

Apparently Daddy and Papa worked all that weekend fixing some things for Mommy with an electric drill and needle-nose pliers. It might be a while til I get to play with those toys!!
